Alkaloid AD Skopje has been awarded the Fair Wild standard version 2 (08/2010) certificate for its teas from the botanicals portfolio

Certificate for Alkaloid’s Teas

The inspection was conducted by IMO – Institute for Marketecology from Switzerland, the unique inspection body accredited for such certification.

Fair Wild Certificate ensures that the tea products comply with the requirements set by Fair Trade, ILO- International Labour Standards and the ISSC-MAP – International Standards for Sustainable Wild Collection of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, which guarantee the safety, quality and efficacy of the produced teas.

The ‘Fair Wild’ certified products   ensure the fair contractual relationships between the plant collectors and the company – user of the wild-harvested plants. This standard also guarantees better working conditions both for the plant collectors and the Alkaloid’s operators, involved in the manufacturing process of ‘Fair Wild’ certified products. The natural resource management and the sustainable use of medicinal and aromatic plants are integral and particularly important aspects of the ‘Fair Wild’ standard.

This has placed Alkaloid AD Skopje in the group of the few companies in the world, certified in accordance with the principles of the new ‘Fair Wild’ Standard, Version 2 (08/2010) and enabled it to market its tea products protected by the ‘Fair Wild’ logo worldwide.
