Paracetamol produces antipyresis by acting centrally on the hypothalamic heat regulating centre to produce peripheral vaso-dilation resulting in increased blood flow through the skin, sweating and heat loss. **Indications:** Paracetamol Alkaloid contains paracetamol which is an analgesic (a pain killer that reduces aches and shivers) and antipyretic (it reduces high temperature).
