Paracetamol produces antipyresis by acting centrally on the hypothalamic heat regulating centre to produce peripheral vaso-dilation resulting in increased blood flow through the skin, sweating and heat loss. **Indications** Paracetamol Alkaloid is used for fast pain relief of headaches, including migraine and tension headaches, toothaches, backache, rheumatic and muscle pains, and menstrual pain.
