ACTION

Heparin, as the main agent of the preparation and also found in human body, manifests anticoagulant and antithrombotic effect. Futhermore, heparin counteracts the action of some endogenous transmitters (histamin, serotonin, acetylcholin), thus, exhibiting antiinflamamatory, antiedematous, moderate spasmolytic and antiallergic properties. Combination of dexpanthenol and allantoin enables high level of heparin absorption.

INDICATIONS

–Prophylaxis and treatment of disorders of venous origin, such as: superficial thrombophlebitis and phlebothrombosis (inflammation of the veins), phlebitis after paravenous injection, post-thrombotic syndrome, varicose veins, skin ulceration of the leg (ulcus cruris), dull ache in the leg, or oedema resulting from venous insufficiency.

–Treatment of swelling or haematoma following accidental or sporting trauma, such as: contusion, distorsion, luxation or bone fracture.

–Enhancement of post-operative wound healing and treatment of scars. Treatment of tendovaginitis, bursitis, epicondylitis.
