DIASTOP® Probio is a probiotic that contains four types of lactic acid bacteria:

• Lactobacillus acidophilus (LA‑5®)

• Streptococcus thermophilus (STY‑31™)

• Bifidobacterium (BB‑12®)

• Lactobacillus delbrueckii (LBY‑27™)

Lactic acid bacteria are normally present in the small and large intestine. They help maintain the acid‑base balance, which is necessary for the normal functioning of digestive enzymes, the immune system, and intestinal peristalsis (movement). They also prevent excessive growth of harmful bacteria.

Active ingredients: live, freeze‑dried lactic bacteria.

Each capsule contains at least 4.5 × 10⁹ CFU total from the following strains:

• Lactobacillus acidophilus (LA‑5®) approx. 32 mg

• Streptococcus thermophilus (STY‑31™) approx. 23 mg

• Bifidobacterium (BB‑12®) approx. 17 mg

• Lactobacillus delbrueckii (LBY‑27™) approx. 6 mg

Excipients: dextrose anhydrous; magnesium stearate (anti‑caking agent); hypromellose (capsule shell); calcium carbonate (capsule shell).

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For oral use.

It is recommended to take the product with meals to avoid the harmful effects of stomach acid on the lactic acid bacteria.

Do not take DIASTOP® Probio with alcohol or hot beverages.

For children who cannot swallow capsules, the capsule may be opened and the contents mixed with a liquid.

Recommended daily dose:

Adults: 1–3 capsules per day

Children over 3 years: 1 capsule per day
