ALKALOID AD Skopje, committed to continuous sustainable development and adherence to sound ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices aligned with international standards, organized an ESG workshop for its employees. The main goal was to raise awareness of ESG principles across ALKALOID AD Skopje and its capital-related companies.

The event brought together the ESG Board, company management directly involved in ESG activities, along with ESG officers from ALKALOID's capital-related companies in the countries where the company operates.

The ESG workshop, titled "Preparation of a Consolidated ESG Report for the ALKALOID Group – Practices, Solutions, and Guidelines," covered fundamental ESG concepts, current EU regulations and standards in this field, as well as detailed practices and examples of ESG reporting from ALKALOID. It highlighted the crucial role of ESG officers in consolidating data when preparing the ESG report.

Considering the complexity involved in developing a fully consolidated non-financial ESG report in line with international standards and regulations, as well as the significant role that ESG officers play, the workshop underscored the significance of ESG within the company’s operations and provided a detailed outline of the requirements from relevant international standards. ESG officers will be crucial in fully integrating and consolidating the ESG segment within the ALKALOID Group, ensuring comprehensive reporting on ESG goals and indicators. This event aimed to improve the consolidated ESG reporting process by sharing best practices, practical solutions, and strategies to enhance efficiency in preparing the report.
