Alkaloid obtains all A-integrated environmental permits

Alkaloid AD – Skopje has obtained a written confirmation for the commitments concerning the environmental care, which is one of the permanent principles of its business policy for decades.

The company managed to obtain all A-integrated environmental permits for harmonization with the operational plan.

After obtaining an A-permit in 2012 for harmonization with the operational plan of Alkaloid AD – Pharmacy PC for Avtokomanda site, the company has recently obtained the other two installation permits, which required preparing an application with the operational plan and their submission to the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, pursuant to the Law on Environment. A-permits for harmonization with the operational plan that have recently been obtained refer to Alkaloid AD – Chemistry Program PC and Alkaloid AD – Pharmacy PC, both on a site in Gjorche Petrov municipality.

Alkaloid started the preparations for obtaining an integrated environmental permit as early as 2007 in order to harmonize with this country’s regulations and the EU legislation as well as for integrated prevention and control of the pollution – a project in which over half a million euro were invested.

Thereby Alkaloid received official recognition as a company that strives towards integrated prevention and control of environmental pollution in its daily production operations.
