By implementing the cutting-edge AlkaLIMS software platform (Laboratory Information Management System), Alkaloid has begun the comprehensive integration of its laboratory processes within the PC Pharmaceuticals segment. This project involves integrating all laboratory processes into a single digital platform, covering every process stage from sample collection to the issuance of product analysis certificates.
The AlkaLIMS software solution was introduced to significantly enhance various aspects of laboratory operations within Quality Control, Research & Development, and Manufacturing Technical Operations. Its objectives are to boost efficiency and productivity, optimize regulatory compliance, ensure data and process integrity and traceability for product control, centralize data management, integrate all analytical equipment into one platform, reduce operational costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
AlkaLIMS is an advanced and open software solution that allows for ongoing updates with new modules tailored to the company's needs. The world-renowned LabWare Corporation from the United States is Alkaloid’s partner in this project.
