Alkaloid with increased consolidated sales by 4%, increase of consolidated net income by 8% and 95 new employments for the period January - June 2016

According to the unaudited stand alone and consolidated income statement Alkaloid AD Skopje achieved positive financial results for the period January - June 2016.

Total consolidated sales for January – June 2016 amounted to MKD 4,197 million, an increase of 4% compared with the same period in the previous year, with an increase of 5% of the consolidated export. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in amount of MKD 598 million increased by 8% and consolidated Net Income in amount of MKD 326 million also increased by 8%, according to the unaudited consolidated income statement.

According to the unaudited stand alone income statement, sales for January – June 2016 amounted to MKD 3,244 million, an increase of 6% compared with the same period in the previous year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in amount of MKD 583 million increased by 9% and Net Income also increased by 9%.

The total investments in non-current assets for the period January - June 2016 were in the amount of MKD 344,331 thousand.

There were 95 new employments for the period January - June 2016 in Alkaloid in the Republic of Macedonia.
