Becutan, one of the region’s most recognizable baby care brands, is officially entering the French market for the first time through Lidl France's retail network. Becutan Baby Cream in a 100 ml pack will now be available in nearly 2,000 Lidl stores across France.
Its iconic blue color and the gentle scent that evokes childhood memories have shaped the Becutan story for decades. With its arrival in France, the brand opens a new chapter in its international development. The Lidl France team recognized Becutan Baby Cream as a product with strong market potential in the children's cosmetics segment.
Key evaluation criteria included the quality of its formulation, the brand’s long-standing tradition, and its proven leadership position in regional markets, where this product is firmly positioned among category leaders. The collaboration with Lidl France stands as a significant validation of the company’s global strategic direction and its long-term commitment to building a strong, sustainable presence in international markets.
Beyond the region, the Becutan brand is present in around twenty other international markets, including the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Great Britain, Poland, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Becutan is among the most recognizable Macedonian brands both regionally and beyond. What began in 1978 with just five pharmaceutical formulations for baby skin care and hygiene has grown into a comprehensive portfolio of more than 60 core product types and over 100 different packaging formats. All products are clinically and dermatologically tested and developed in collaboration with pediatricians, neonatologists, and dermatologists.
