France’s ambassador to Macedonia pays official visit to Alkaloid
A delegation of the Embassy of France to the Republic of Macedonia, headed by H.E. Ambassador Christian Thimonier, paid an official working visit to Alkaloid Ad Skopje.
The aim of this visit of the high diplomatic officials was to get introduced with the results of the eight-decade long work of the company, its placements and the production portfolio. During the meeting with the managerial team, the guests were also acquainted with the numerous investments that Alkaloid has continuously realized over the years, as well as with the export activities, which are among the key segments of the corporate policy.
H.E. Ambassador Thimonier said that he was impressed with the visit and the success Alkaloid has achieved in the course of its business operations.
‘I am very happy that Alkaloid has been successfully doing business with several French pharmaceutical companies, but together we will attempt to increase their number in future and establish a more profound cooperation in the field of research, which would be of great significance for both countries. Alkaloid is a success story, which proves that if there is knowledge, everything can be accomplished’, said Mr. Thimonier.
Mr. Zhivko Mukaetov, the CEO and President of the Managing Board of Alkaloid, has pointed out that it is a great honour to have France’s ambassador visit the company, which is ready to make extra efforts in order to intensify the cooperation between the two countries.
‘This year, when we are celebrating the eight decades of research, innovations and continuous investments in Alkaloid’s vision to a healthier life, I cannot help but mention the previous generations of Alkaloid’s employees, whose selfless commitment has brought us to be one of the most modern, fast-growing pharmaceutical industries in the region of South-East Europe, with over 1,600 employees and placements in more than 30 countries worldwide’, said Mukaetov.
During the visit, the guests took the opportunity to get closely acquainted with the production and research facilities of the company and the new Centre for quality control.
