HC ALKALOID ACHIEVES HISTORIC SUCCESS FOR MACEDONIAN HANDBALL

HC Alkaloid is proud to announce that, by the official decision of the European Handball Federation (EHF), it has been named the winner of the EHF European Men's Cup for the 2024/25 season.

Following a 10–0 forfeit victory in the return leg that was scheduled to take place in Skopje, HC Alkaloid secured its second win in the final series. The team had already celebrated a 25–29 away victory in Athens, sealing the series 2–0 and claiming this prestigious European title.

This trophy marks the first European title in the club's short, four-year history — a milestone not only for HC Alkaloid but for Macedonian club handball as a whole. It also marks the first time a Macedonian coach — Kiril Lazarov — has won a European title as head coach. The club expresses its sincere gratitude for his efforts, leadership, and selfless dedication.

HC Alkaloid welcomes the EHF's decision, which reaffirms that sportsmanship, fair play, and perseverance lead to the highest achievements in sport.

The club also extends its sincere thanks to its fans, players, and coaching staff for their unwavering support throughout the journey to this historic success.
