THE TRAJCHE MUKAETOV FOUNDATION AWARDS 40 NEW SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

The Trajche Mukaetov Foundation has awarded 40 scholarships to students at the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Medicine at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, for the seventeenth consecutive year. As required in the public call for applications, the Foundation’s Management Board selected the 2024/2025 academic year recipients from the shortlist proposed by the Scholarship Committees, composed of representatives of the Foundation, the two faculties, and the students.

The Trajche Mukaetov Foundation awarded 40 new scholarships for the new academic year, 20 of which to students at the Faculty of Pharmacy and 20 to students at the Faculty of Medicine at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University. As in previous years, the Foundation will also award a one-time €1,200 award in denars to the best students of the generation from both faculties. The winners of this award are Frosina Dimoska from the Faculty of Pharmacy (GPA 9.72) and Anastasija Petlichkovska from the Faculty of Medicine (GPA 9.92), both of whom are scholarship recipients of the Trajche Mukaetov Foundation.

"Investing in young talent in the field of science, particularly pharmacy and medicine, is a long-term investment in a healthier society. Over the past 17 years, the Trajche Mukaetov Foundation has supported the academic journey of 699 scholarship recipients at the state university in Skopje. I am particularly delighted that, to date, 110 of these scholarship recipients have decided to start their professional careers in various Alkaloid departments. By prioritizing selective recruitment, continuous investment in research, development, new technologies, and ongoing professional growth, Alkaloid can successfully compete in the global pharmaceutical market," said Mr. Zhivko Mukaetov, President of the Trajche Mukaetov Foundation and CEO of Alkaloid AD Skopje.

For the past seventeen years, the Trajche Mukaetov Foundation has awarded scholarships to 699 pharmacy and medicine students at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and invested nearly 141 million denars in scholarships and one-time monetary awards to the best students of the generation.

As of November 2022, the scholarships have been set at MKD 7,000 over a 12-month period, distributed evenly for both current and new scholarship recipients until they formally complete their studies.
