Delegation from American Council of Young Political Leaders Visits Alkaloid

Representatives of the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL), accompanied by officials from the US Embassy in Skopje, made their second working visit to Alkaloid following last year's inaugural meeting.

Led by Alkaloid’s CEO and Board President Zhivko Mukaetov, the working group provided a comprehensive overview of the company's performance. The group also underscored the company's ongoing investments, export activities, and commitment to corporate social responsibility, all of which constitute critical priorities of Alkaloid's corporate policy.

During the delegation's visit, discussions revolved around Alkaloid's successful five-decade collaboration with esteemed US companies such as Pfizer and Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD).

Among its notable US undertakings, Alkaloid takes particular pride in successfully marketing Good Nature teas. Over the past 18 years, through its subsidiary in Ohio, the company has cultivated strong relationships with US firms specializing in producing and distributing teas and natural medicinal products. Esteemed companies such as AVEDA, a member of the Este Lauder conglomerate, along with Arbonne International (Groupe Rocher Arbonne) and Swanson, have all engaged in fruitful collaborations with Alkaloid. These Alkaloid-branded teas sell through major retailers, including Walmart and Amazon. Alkaloid's Healthy Heart tea on Amazon proudly bears the distinctive Amazon Choice label.

Beyond its involvement in promoting Good Nature teas and Becutan children's cosmetics, Alkaloid is a partner of choice for several prestigious US pharmaceutical firms. Collaborative efforts span various pharmacy domains, encompassing licensed production, marketing representation, and product distribution authorizations.

During their visit, the delegation had the privilege of touring Alkaloid's Pharmaceuticals Department's manufacturing facilities. They also gained firsthand exposure to the state-of-the-art conditions at the company's Research and Development Institute.

Delegation members, including Ms. Sarah Harbison, Mr. Noah Sanford, Ms. Bride Sweeney, Ms. Vanessa Tanner, Mr. Anthony Vega, Mr. Robert Williams and Mr. David Spector, voiced their contentment with Alkaloid's impressive operations and substantive presence in the US market.
