Representatives of the American Council of Young Political Leaders – ACYPL visit “Alkaloid”
A delegation of the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL), accompanied by representatives from the US Embassy in Skopje, paid a working visit to "Alkaloid". The aim of the visit was for the representatives of the Council, through its Program for exchange of delegations between countries, to get acquainted with the way and the conditions in which successful Macedonian private companies work.
The meeting agenda included a presentation of the business operations of "Alkaloid", the results of the operations, company placements and production activities, as well as the social responsibility, which is one of the key segments of the company's corporate policy. Within the framework of the visit, a tour of the production facilities of "Alkaloid" and the Institute for Research and Development of the company was realized. Special emphasis was put on the business operations in the USA, where "Alkaloid" AD Skopje established its subsidiary in New Albany, Ohio in 2005. In addition to the placements of teas from the "Good Nature" program and children's cosmetics from the "Becutan" brand, “Alkaloid” is a partner of choice to several renowned American pharmaceutical companies, with various forms of cooperation, such as licensed production, marketing representation and authorizations to distribute their products.
The members of the delegation, including Ms. Chanell Autrey, Ms. Tara Campbell, Mr. Jake Evans, Mr. John Michael Montgomery, Ms. Ashley Vanorny and Ms. Suzanne Swink , expressed their satisfaction with the successful operation of "Alkaloid" and with the company's business activities in the American market.
