On the occasion of the 20-year anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations of the Republic of Macedonia with several countries from Europe and beyond, among the attendees at the official celebration, which took place on the 9th of October this year at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, was the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Denmark in the Republic of Macedonia.
Among the attending guests, who came over to the Republic of Macedonia on the occasion of this significant anniversary, were the Non-Resident Deputy Head of Mission of the Kingdom of Denmark in Vienna, Mr. Tomas Kruse, accompanied by the Consul General of the Kingdom of Denmark in our country, Mr. Zhivko Mukaetov.
As a sign of the successful diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Danish Consulate made its own presentation as part of the celebration with many traditional dishes comprising authentic Danish specialties and national drinks, as well as Danish symbols and souvenirs.
The Consulate General of the Kingdom of Denmark in the Republic of Macedonia exists since 1994, and Denmark was one of the first countries to recognise the independence of our country.
