Toni Lazov, who secured a silver medal at the Chess Olympiad, attended a reception with Zhivko Mukaetov, CEO and MB President of Alkaloid AD


In honor of the success by Toni Lazov (24), an international master and a key member of CC Alkaloid, who earned a silver medal at the Chess Olympiad in Budapest, a reception was organized today by the MB President, Zhivko Mukaetov.


IM Toni Lazov has been part of the chess club for 15 years, with the club itself being under the sponsorship of the company since 1976. As he delved into the complexities of chess, Lazov advanced through all youth categories and began winning international chess titles, positioning himself as a leading hope for Macedonian chess. Last year, he achieved his first Grandmaster norm, and this year he became the national champion by winning the Macedonian Open Championship. In this Olympiad, he delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 7.5 points from 8 matches while playing on the second board for the Macedonian national team. Lazov's career exemplifies the core mission and success of CC Alkaloid's chess school, where the finest Macedonian grandmasters pass on their expertise to younger generations.
