Action
Nazopas contains oxymetazoline hydrochloride, which is used as a nasal decongestant. By narrowing the arterioles, it reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa and nasal secretions. In this way, breathing through the nose is facilitated and the accompanying signs of the common cold are alleviated. Oxymetazoline has both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, as well as antiviral activity against certain viruses, which mainly cause respiratory diseases.
Indications
Nazopass nasal drops, intended for children and adults are used for:
- Acute sneezing
- Allergic sneezing
- Rhinosinusitis
- Middle ear infection (otitis media) – for improving the Eustachian tube function
