PROCULIN TEARS ADVANCE +

Composition

0.4% Cross-Linked Hyaluronic Acid

Pharmaceutical Form

Eye drops, solution

Effect

Cross-Linked Hyaluronic Acid is an innovative technology that crosslinks hyaluronic acid with urea, enhancing and improving the mechanical properties of natural hyaluronic acid. This results in a longer-lasting and stronger effect of:

  • HYDRATION and water retention in the eye

  • LUBRICATION of the eye

  • REGENERATION of the tear film

  • RESISTANCE to degradation by hyaluronidase

Sodium hyaluronate provides adequate lubrication of the ocular surface, protecting it from friction caused by eye movement, while retaining water on the surface of the ocular epithelium. Thus, it increases the stability of the tear film, which protects the cornea from external influences.

Indications

Proculin Tears Advance + eye drops are used to restore the stability of the tear film in cases of dry eye syndrome and to soothe the eye in cases of redness, discomfort, or fatigue of the eyes or ocular mucosa caused by:

  • Environmental factors, such as air-conditioned environments, excessive sun exposure, wind, smoke, pollution, contact with seawater or pool water, and dry salt;

  • Dryness of the eye caused by excessive fatigue from prolonged computer work or studying;

  • Ophthalmological stress after surgical procedures on the eye surface or aesthetic eyelid surgery;

  • Wearing soft and semi-hard contact lenses for several hours a day.
